Fern Lodge Public Art Project
Fern Lodge Public Art Project (2002) Commissioned by the Fern Lodge Tenants and Residents Association. Funded by the national lottery (RALF). Seventeen vitreous enamel panel murals have been installed on the Fern Lodge Estate, off Leigham Ct Road in Streatham. The majority of the panels (measuring 1m in height and 1.2m to 2m across) were mounted on the building exteriors making them accessible to all the residents and people in the immediate vicinity.
The project involved designs from workshops by youth on the Estate as well as the local Crown Lane Primary School.
Opened by the Rt. Hon Tessa Jowell MP, Secretary of State, Department for Culture. July 2002
